REVIEW: Jazzy Collections Kiss Proof Lipgloss

Here is another lip product review for everyone. I will first show you some photos of the actual product.

Jazzy Collections Kiss Proof Lipgloss - in Prune

PACKAGING

It's very simple and classy. Just like the packaging of a typical lip cream, it is contained in a round container having 8ml of product. It comes with an applicator when you open it.

SWATCH
Here I'm gonna show you guys how the shade looks like when applied at the back of your hand.

One thing which is really weird about this item is that the packaging states that it is lip gloss when in fact, it is a matte lip cream! Haha. Anyway, the shade that I got is really nice and it's a plum-like color which I love because it's in trend for this year.

APPLICATION
Here, I will show you a photo of me wearing the lip cream itself.

You can notice its really nice matte-finish. I love the color! It compliments with my nails. :)

OVERALL OPINION
Another matte lip cream to be addicted about! Haha. That's the first thought which comes up my mind upon swatching the product when I went at the SM Store. I love the shade when applied on my lips and its matte finish too! One factor I don't like about this is that it was written on the packaging that it's kiss proof when it's actually not! Haha. No I mean I tried to eat a meal while having the product on my lips and unfortunately, some parts were removed. But then, it's not a big issue for me since I always prefer removing my lipstick first before eating! Haha. Meaning, I still love this! It's smudge proof by the way. :) And again, I still recommend this Jazzy Collections Kiss Proof Lipgloss to all matte lip product lovers out there!

PRICE
PHP299. For me its quite pricey because the brand which carry the product is based here in the Philippines and yet they cannot lower the price. But then, the quality is really good and the cream was made in Germany so I still understand. Haha!

REVIEW: Make Up Academy Luxe Velvet Lip Lacquer

Hi dolls! Most of the time, I've been wondering what to call you next. Doll? Beautiful? Lovely? Hahaha. Whatever it is, you all deserve to be called like that! :) Anyway, today I'm gonna be showing you a lip product review which is unusual because if you will check my reviews in this blog, most of them are foundations and other makeup base. But then, trying out new things will give you a room for improvement! :) Nevertheless, let's start this guys..

MUA (Make Up Academy) Luxe Velvet Lip Lacquer - in Atomic

I do not know how many shades are available because this products was just given to me for review purposes, but I am not getting paid for this blog! :)

PACKAGING

I adore the packaging. It looks very unique, classy and glamorous. I like the the gold sculpted-like texts written on the item. And regarding the product itself, it comes with an enough size which is very handy and perfect to be placed on your makeup bag. It has an applicator inside which is just like the typical applicator of other lip creams or gloss.

SWATCH

Here you can see how the shade looks like when you do a swatch at the back of your hand.

You can notice its velvety finish though it is a matte lip cream. I am so much obsessed with the shade! I mean look at that. The color is just PERFECTLY AMAZING! Bold para intense. HAHA.

APPLICATION

I will show you guys a picture of me wearing the MUA Lip Lacquer in Atomic. Here it is..

OVERALL OPINION
I am in love with this lip lacquer! This made me wanna try the other shades. Its really long lasting and smudge proof! I wore this for about 5 hours and the color does not change at all. Nothing fades. In fact, when I applied it at the back of my hand and washed it, it's hard to remove and with that, I can say that it's kinda waterproof too. Also, its finish is really perfect! If you love matte lip products like I do, this lip lacquer is perfect for you. :)

It costs PHP380 which for me is worthy considering the quality. :)

REVIEW: Zallure Skincare Underarm Whitening Maintenance Set

Hello guys! If you have read my previous blog, I mentioned that I will be doing reviews after a week of using the products in my new skincare routine. As promised, here is my written opinion about the Zallure Skincare Underarm Maintenance Set. :)


First of all, I will show you how I use the set. It's very convenient and easy to use so let's begin!

Zallure Skincare - Bleaching Soap

I use this soap to clean my underarm area twice a day, during daytime and night time before I sleep. But I do not use it on the rest of my body because I'm using the Gluta Blend Soap.

Zallure Skincare - Underarm Whitening Solution

After washing, I'm using this underarm toner to even out my skin. I use this during daytime and night time too. I'm putting it using upward strokes and after that, I just let it dry. After that, I do not put on any deodorant.

Zallure Skincare - Underarm Whitening Cream

After toning, I use this cream only during night time and just leave it as I sleep. 

The first time I used the set was on August 14, 2014 and today is August 21, 2014 which means that it has been a week since I used the whitening set. I would like to show you guys a picture showing my underarm skin tone before and after using Zallure Skincare's Underarm Whitening Maintenance Set. (Guys, please don't mind other stuffs on my underarm. Just the TONE please. Hahaha! Way back, I used to pluck before taking a bath so this is what happened to my underarm)

1 week of using Zallure Skincare Underarm Whitening Maintenance Set

Note: Only the frame and text were edited in the photo. I did not adjust the resolution cause I wanna show you the real tone. The lighting is from the light brought by the sun so it's natural. No flash or something!

OVERALL OPINION

I can notice a huge difference with my underarm right now which means that the products are effective. I think I should continue using it to clearly see a difference. However, one thing that I don't like about the items is its semi-strong scent. But, it still depends upon your case because I am a bit sensitive when it comes to smell. If it's not your issue, then this product is perfect for you. I recommend this to people who wants to even out their underarm skin tone (just like me hehe). It's really effective! :)

PRICE
The set costs PHP400 which makes it very affordable compare to other underarm whitening set out in the market.

Updated Daytime Skincare Routine

Hi there guys! I just want to share you how I do my daily skincare and what are the products that I'm using right now. I'm trying out new brand which is Zallure Skincare so this is not usually my routine before I put on my makeup. Just wanna know which one will be perfect for my skin. You knew it, beauty junkie problems! :) Anyway, let's start now.

1. Cleanser

Zallure Skincare - Gluta Blend Soap

The first step to achieve a healthy and moisturized skin is of course to clean it very well. This will help you remove all the dirt that you got when you go outside or when you do something. Right now, I'm using this soap from Zallure to clean my face. After cleaning, I am now ready to proceed with the next step.

2. Toner

Zallure Skincare - Triple Whitening Toner

 The second step is mostly recommended for people who has oily to combination skin. But nowadays, dermatologist recommend using this to remove deep seated dirt on your skin which cannot be removed by the cleanser. As for me, I'm using the one from Zallure again to help me even out my skintone since I have some discolorations on my face.

3. Eye Cream

Pond's Age Miracle - Dual Action Eye Cream

Most people usually neglect this maybe because they think it's not important. Since I discovered the use of eye cream, I started using one until today. We all know that signs of aging usually appear on our eye area like wrinkle and crow's feet. Early use of creams will help you eliminate those or maybe avoid it. As Michelle Phan used to say, prevention is key. So you better invest in finding the right eye cream for you.

I love using this Pond's Eye Cream simply because it has a lot of purposes. The pink gel as you can see in the photo above is used for the upper part of the eye to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and crow's feet as I have mentioned earlier. On the other hand, the white cream is used to lighten dark circles and reduce the puffiness of the eyes.

4. Moisturizer

Celeteque Dermo Science - Hydration Facial Moisturizer

Moisturizing is very important to avoid dry skin and create a smooth canvas for your makeup. This will help you soften your skin and also a way for you to prevent aging. Dry skin are prone to aging but if your skin is moisturize, you are likely to avoid that. I love this one from Celeteque! This is the very first facial moisturizer that I have tried and I never changed brand. I can say that it's really perfect for my skin! :)

5. Day Cream

Zallure Skincare - Day Cream

The use of day cream for me, is optional. It all depends on the need of your skin as there are different varieties of day cream to be used on different purposes. I'm using this whitening day cream from Zallure Skincare to even out discolorations on my face.

6. Lip balm

Nivea Essential Care - Lip Balm

Last but not least, which is also the step which people don't usually do is applying lip balm before proceeding with putting their makeup. This step is important to moisturize your lips and to avoid a chapped one. You don't want that to happen to you especially when you love matte lipsticks. It may look like a terrible disaster (if you can imagine what I mean haha)! Anyway, I use this one from Nivea as it has no color at all. I don't want a tinted lip balm as it may affect the color of my lipstick or lipcream.

HOW TO USE: Zallure Skin Care (Triple Whitening Face and Body Combo)

Hello friends! How was your day? Hope you are all having a good time. :)

I am a bit excited to share this article to you guys because.. guess what? I will be trying new skin care brand!! This article will feature products that I got from:

Their products are Dermatologist Tested and approved by Food and Drug Administration! So that's a plus factor. :)

Anyway, let's proceed now with the blog proper.

Zallure Skin Care - Triple Whitening Face and Body Combo

Here is the detailed instructions (in order) on how to use the set:

DAYTIME

1. Gluta Blend Soap. Wash the face and body using the soap. This is intended for skin whitening and has moisturizing effect. It is a blend of Kojic, Glutathione and Arbutin for that extra strength whitening effect.
2. Triple Whitening Toner. This product is to be applied only on the face. Apply thinly all over face using upward strokes. We all know that toners are intended not just to even out skin tone but also to remove deep seated dirt which are not able to reach by facial soaps or cleansers.
3. Day Cream. Apply a small amount of this product all over your face. Just make sure that you will use sunblock after this or any other product which has SPF to protect your skin from the harmful rays of the sun.
4. Skin Moisturizer with Sunblock SPF15. Apply this all over the body especially on the dry areas. Frequent reapplication is advised to keep your skin soft and smooth all day.

NIGHT TIME

1. Gluta Blend Soap. You need to wash your face and body again using the soap.
2. Triple Whitening Toner. Again, you need to thinly apply the toner on your entire face. 
3. Triple Whitening Cream. Apply a thin layer of this cream all over the face and leave it overnight. Night is the best time to put on all products that you want on your face and body as your skin regenerates during this time. So make sure you'll follow the routine if you want to achieve what you want. :)
4. Triple Whitening Lotion. Apply enough amount of this lotion all over the body. It will help you gently fade away skin discolorations which will leave your skin fair and radiant afterwards.

Makeup base and Foundation

PACKAGING

I adore the packaging a lot! Haha. Besides  the color (Ahm! I love fuchsia pink), I just like its physical features. It is very handy so I can bring it wherever I want inside my makeup bag. The product contains 30ml of cream which I think can be used for a long time because a little amount of application goes a long way. No need to apply too much! :)

SWATCH

The BB cream comes with two shades: Natural & Oak. I am in the shade Natural! In the above photo, you will see how the shade actually looks like.

So you actually can see that a little goes a long way! I know you'll say that the shade is too light for me. Don't worry because my remedy for that is setting it with a powder which is quite darker than my skin tone. It looks more natural that way. Beauty trick! :D

APPLICATION

I first applied a primer and the BB cream glides on smoothly! One layer of application is more than enough. It was able to cover imperfections on my face. Thumbs up for that. :)

You'll notice that the product doesn't have a matte finish. But for me, it is a good factor since I have normal to dry skin! Also, it gives my face an instant glow which makes me look more blooming (as my friends use to say!) <3

OVERALL OPINION

The photo above is the completed look after I put on my makeup. Look at my skin guys! It's very flawless and smooth. A plus factor? It looks very natural! Thanks to Rucy's Vanity BB Cream. I have tried more than 10 different brand of BB creams and this will be included in my favorites. :)

I love the coverage: medium to full. The smell is nice. The consistency is creamy and very light when applied on the face. After I emptied the tube, I think I will definitely buy again. I recommend this BB cream for you guys who are on a budget and looking for good quality product. :)

P.S. I do not edit the picture. The lighting was the natural light of the sun from my window. Haha!

REVIEW: Rucy's Vanity CC Cream

Hi guys! Welcome back to another beauty product review here. :)

Today's review will feature the Rucy's Vanity CC Cream. For everyone's information, Rucy's Vanity is a Korean brand which sells high quality yet very affordable cosmetics. Their products were all made in Korea and approved by the Food and Drug Administration here in the Philippines.

Let's start with the review.

Rucy's Vanity Whitening Color Control Cream - SPF30 PA+++

PACKAGING

It comes with a small tube containing 30ml of product. You need to squeeze the item to get an amount of cream at the bottom part. The color is silver which makes it very simple and classic. I totally like the packaging! It is travel-friendly because it comes with this handy size.

SWATCH

 Because I just ordered online, I was not able to swatch the product first before buying. I got a shade which I think is lighter than my natural skin tone. You can notice that in the above photo. By the way, the shades available are: Natural & Oak.

I was amazed when I blended the product because look.. It's like it disappeared on my skin! That's something to be loved about this CC cream. The only thing I am concern about is that it has a pink undertone and not totally perfect for me because I have yellow ones. Anyway, we can still do some adjustment with the powder that we will use later on.

This time I will skip the application part. Instead, I will just show you a picture presenting how the product looks like on my skin with my makeup on. Here it is..

OVERALL OPINION

The CC cream has a dewy finish. I am not totally a fan of dewy-looking makeup but.. this product made me want to try it some other time! It has a scent which I cannot tell what it smells like, but it is not irritating because it's not strong. The consistency is creamy (but not too much) yet very lightweight which is something I really LOVE, while the coverage I think is in medium. I still need to apply full-coverage cream to cover imperfections such as my dark circles and blemishes on the sides of my nose. But other than that, I must say that I am inlove with this Rucy's Vanity CC Cream! I mean.. I have tried other CC creams and this one I think is INCOMPARABLE because with just one application, say hello to flawless and smooth skin!! :) I recommend this people who wants a light weight and flawless coverage on an everyday basis. This CC cream is a must-try! :)

TOP 5 MAKEUP BRUSHES I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT!

I want to catch attention so I put the title that way! Hahaha. Good morning lovelies. Let's begin this day with a smile please. :)

No matter what brand, no matter what kind, I must say that makeup brushes are a must-have for beauty junkie like me who wants to create good looks and styles.

Proceeding with this article, here they are:

1. Flat Top Brush

Seriously? I can't create a smooth and flawless canvas without this! This is almost my life. Hahaha. I mean, I always use it! Be it BB cream, liquid foundation or concealer, a flat top brush is my key to achieve the perfect coverage that I want. This is ESSENTIAL for me! :D

2. Angled Eyebrow Brush

Natural-looking, bold, precise. No matter what kind of eyebrow I wanna rock daily, this is another must-have for me! I became used to eyebrow powder which I consider as one factor but, I also love using this baby when fixing my brows after I glide on my eyebrow pencil. Your brows frame your face so I suggest, you must put particular attention to it. :)

3. Eyeshadow Blending Brush

I don't know how to create good eye makeup without this.. or should I say, I will not become a makeup artist without this! Haha. Trust me. Blending is one key towards achieving perfect eye makeup. And this brush is a way for you to achieve it! Even professionals use this a lot.

4. Powder Brush

This is what you need if you want a quick & easy way to achieve an even application. As I have said, a good canvas is important as this will serve as the base for everything that you will put on your face. So if you're someone who is always on a rush like me, use this! You can apply powder evenly in a matter of seconds. ;)

5. Blush Brush

I am not a fan of cream blushers. Maybe that is the reason why this brush is also an essential for me! There are actually angled or even the ordinary blush brush and I actually have no preference as long as I have one for my powder blush. Cheek gives you a glow that is sometimes the first thing noticed to you by your friends! So make sure you do it right. :)

REVIEW: 4U2 Celebrity Liquid Foundation

Hello dollies! For today's blog, I will be featuring a makeup product from my top favorite local makeup brand. :)

4U2 Celebrity Liquid Foundation - SPF20 PA++ 

Long Lasting, Coverage & Consistency, Sun Screen Protection

PACKAGING 

I like the packaging but because I was able to see their previous line which is the "4U2 Face Value", I can't stop comparing it there. I must say, I like that more! Hahaha. Anyway, as you can see in photos above, it has a brown and black color and the product is contained in a tube with its cap below. It has 25g of product meaning that it is travel-friendly so you can bring this anywhere you go.

SWATCH

The liquid foundation has only one shade making it a downside factor of this product. So as you can notice in the above photo, it's too light for me and it contains more oil compared to other liquid foundations I tried before. But then.. let me continue first! :D

That's how it looks like upon blending the foundation at the back of my hand. Yes, the shade I know! But.. but.. but.. trust me! the coverage is AMAZING. :) (Note: I have normal to dry skin.)

APPLICATION

So then, I will be applying the product on my face. Please don't laugh at my photo! Hahahaha. I must be so in love with 4U2 Cosmetics that I wanna kiss their product. LOL! I just love the fact that the brand was able to produce affordable yet high quality products. (My own opinion! Definitely)

There it goes.. I already applied the 4U2 Celebrity Liquid Foundation on my face! Okay let's talk about the shade. I mentioned that it's too light for me but then again, I just did my rescue activity (what?! HAHA) which is applying a darker shade powder on my face. And oh, I AMAZINGLY LOVE THE COVERAGE! :) It's flawless and able to cover imperfections on my face with just a small amount of product. Isn't is WOW? Like ugh! HAHAHAHA. OA. Just look at the photo below for evidence.

OVERALL OPINION

I didn't love it at first because I find the oil too much irritating on my face. I don't know if it is an oil or whatever but, that's one factor that I don't like about this product. BUT then.. I have considered too many factors for me to love this including:

• COVERAGE. Its flawless, stays longer on my skin like (but still varies on your skin type), and lastly, moisturizing (maybe because of the oil something which irritates me on the beginning.. haha).
• CONSISTENCY. I have it my face for about 5-6 hours and it doesn't cake/budge at all!
• SMELL. Seems like a classic perfume.
• AFFORDABLE

It costs PHP414. Considering the quality, I must say it is affordable! :)

Sorry for being biased here but most women loves pink anyway! :) The product is contained in this quite huge tube wherein you need to open that silver part down there and press the tube (of course!) to get the product. It has 25g of the cream which is just enough considering the size of the container. You can see some labels at the back part including the ingredients and product description. P.S. Sorry if some parts are blurred because I forgot to turn the focus to automatic. (I am not a photographer though! Hihi)

Here goes one of the most awaiting parts of this blog.

It has pink undertone which is somehow a con for me because it doesn't work well with me. But based on my experience with this product, it blends well with my skin when I top it off with a beige shade powder.

I'm in the shade "Light" and it's really lighter than my natural skin tone. >_<

APPLICATION

In the photo shown below, I already put on a primer and concealer.

Here is another photo showing the coverage of the product on my face. I used a flat top brush so spread the cream on my skin. (I always do that when applying bb cream, liquid foundation and sometimes even concealer.)

OVERALL OPINION

I already emptied one tube of this Pond's BB Cream which obviously means that I love the product! And oh, I haven't mentioned yet that this is the base that I use everyday! I find it perfect for everyday because it is not too light and not too heavy on the face, meaning it has medium coverage. It is also able to cover imperfections on my face and even out my skin. Although one thing that is quite alarming for me sometimes is the shade! I never wanted to put a product on my face which is far lighter than my natural tone. But then, this cream blends well with me whenever I top it off with a powder that has a darker shade. All in all, I love it! It always give me a flawless coverage that whenever I use it, some friends told me that they love my skin. Hahaha! It is a skin-friendly product for me. *Note: I don't have sensitive skin. I don't know if this will work well with people who has sensitive skin. :)

PRICE

This product costs PHP299 making it one of the most affordable bb creams in the market. :)
